Terms of Sale
These Terms of Sale apply to purchases made from Snugwell Pets through SnugwellPets.com. They explain how a sales contract is formed, how product and pricing information is presented, how payment and delivery operate, and what rights and responsibilities apply to customers and Snugwell Pets.
These Terms should be read together with our Shipping & Delivery Policy, Returns & Refund Policy, Payment & Billing Policy, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Terms of Service, and Legal Notice.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or restrict any consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or limited under UK law.

These Terms apply when you purchase products from Snugwell Pets through our online store.
By placing an order, you confirm that you have had an opportunity to review the relevant product information, price, delivery information, payment options, and applicable store policies.
For distance contracts, UK law requires specified pre-contract information to be made available to consumers clearly before they become bound by the contract.
3. Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications, prices, and availability information displayed on the website are accurate and kept reasonably up to date.
However:
- Product photographs are intended to represent the relevant product as accurately as reasonably possible.
- Colour and appearance may differ slightly depending on your device or display settings.
- Product specifications, packaging, or presentation may change where appropriate.
- Availability may change without notice.
- Occasional technical, typographical, or other errors may occur.
Where an error is identified, we may correct the relevant information.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights where products do not conform to the contract. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods supplied to consumers are subject to statutory requirements concerning satisfactory quality, fitness for particular purpose, and conformity with their description, among other protections.
4. Product Availability
All orders are subject to product availability.
Displaying a product on SnugwellPets.com does not guarantee that the product will remain available when you submit an order.
If a product becomes unavailable before your order can be fulfilled, we may contact you regarding the situation or cancel the affected order.
Where payment has already been taken for an order that we cannot fulfil, the relevant amount will be refunded.
5. Prices
Unless stated otherwise, all prices displayed on SnugwellPets.com are in British pounds sterling (GBP/£).
The applicable product price and any delivery charges will be presented during the purchasing process before you submit your order.
We may update prices from time to time. A genuine pricing or technical error may be corrected before or, where legally permitted, after an order is accepted.
We will not intentionally use misleading pricing information or create an inaccurate impression about the amount payable.
6. Delivery Charges
The delivery options currently advertised by Snugwell Pets are:
Economy Shipping
Free
Estimated delivery: 5–8 business days
Standard Shipping
£15
Estimated delivery: 3–4 business days
For complete information regarding processing, dispatch, delivery estimates, tracking, and delivery problems, please see our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
7. Order Processing
Orders are generally processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.
Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays.
Orders placed during weekends or public holidays will normally begin processing on the next applicable business day.
The processing period is separate from the delivery transit period.
8. Placing an Order
When you submit an order through SnugwellPets.com, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products.
The order is subject to availability, successful payment authorisation, and acceptance by Snugwell Pets.
Before placing your order, the website should clearly present the information required to make the purchasing decision, including applicable product and pricing information and relevant delivery and payment information. UK rules also require an electronic ordering process to make clear that submitting the order creates an obligation to pay.
9. Order Confirmation and Contract Formation
After submitting an order, you may receive an automated acknowledgement confirming that your order has been received.
An order acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that Snugwell Pets has accepted the order.
A contract of sale will be formed in accordance with the ordering process used on the website and the applicable legal requirements.
Where an order is not accepted, or cannot be fulfilled, we will take appropriate steps to notify you and refund any payment already taken for the affected order.
For distance contracts, UK rules require traders to provide confirmation of the contract on a durable medium within the applicable timeframe.
10. Payment
Payment must be successfully authorised or completed through the payment options available during checkout.
Depending on availability, payment methods may include:
- American Express
- Apple Pay
- Diners Club
- Discover
- Google Pay
- Klarna
- Maestro
- Mastercard
- Shop Pay
- UnionPay
- Visa
The exact payment options presented at checkout may vary depending on the transaction, device, browser, payment provider, or other circumstances.
Payments are processed through trusted third-party payment providers.
Snugwell Pets does not store or have access to customers' complete payment-card details.
For more information, please read our Payment & Billing Policy.
11. Payment Problems
If payment is declined, unsuccessful, reversed, or otherwise not authorised, we may be unable to process the order.
You may be required to use another payment method before the order can proceed.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the billing information provided during checkout is accurate and complete.
12. Delivery
Orders are processed and dispatched from our United Kingdom warehouse.
Delivery estimates begin from the date of dispatch unless otherwise specified.
Delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by courier delays, severe weather, public holidays, seasonal demand, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where the law requires delivery within a particular period or provides remedies for failure to deliver, those legal provisions continue to apply. UK legislation provides rules concerning delivery of goods and, where no other agreed time applies, provides a statutory framework for delivery without undue delay and generally within 30 days.
13. Delivery Information Provided by the Customer
Customers are responsible for entering complete and accurate delivery information at checkout.
This may include your name, delivery address, postcode, telephone number, and other information required for delivery.
Incorrect or incomplete address details may cause delays or prevent successful delivery.
Where a delivery problem is caused by inaccurate information supplied by the customer, the resulting circumstances will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and subject to applicable consumer rights.
14. Risk in the Goods
The passing of risk will be handled in accordance with applicable UK consumer law.
A contractual term cannot lawfully remove or restrict certain statutory protections concerning delivery and the passing of risk under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
15. Returns and Refunds
Our voluntary returns process allows customers to request a return within 30 days from the date of delivery, subject to the conditions contained in our Returns & Refund Policy.
This 30-day policy does not replace or restrict any statutory cancellation or consumer rights that apply to your purchase.
For qualifying distance contracts, UK consumer law generally provides a statutory cancellation framework, subject to specified exceptions.
Where you exercise a statutory right to cancel, the applicable legal rules concerning cancellation, return of goods, and reimbursement will apply.
16. Faulty, Damaged, or Misdescribed Goods
If products are faulty, damaged, incorrect, or do not conform to the contract, please contact Snugwell Pets as soon as reasonably possible.
We will assess the issue and provide the appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the purchase.
Consumer rights relating to goods include protections concerning satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, and conformity with description. These statutory protections cannot simply be excluded by contractual wording.
17. Personalised or Excluded Products
Some products may be subject to different cancellation or return arrangements where permitted by law, for example personalised or specially made products.
Any applicable exclusion or special condition will be communicated to customers before the relevant purchase where required.
A statutory cancellation right may not apply to certain categories of goods, including personalised goods or goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, subject to the precise legal conditions.
18. Refunds
Where a refund is due and approved, it will normally be made using the original payment method.
The time taken for the funds to appear in your account may depend on your bank or payment provider.
Additional information about our refund procedure is available in the Returns & Refund Policy.
19. Complaints and Customer Support
We encourage customers to contact Snugwell Pets directly if they experience a problem with an order, product, payment, delivery, return, or refund.
Please provide your order number and enough information for us to identify the issue.

20. Statutory Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms of Sale affects your statutory consumer rights.
In particular, a term of a consumer contract cannot lawfully exclude or restrict certain rights arising under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including statutory protections concerning the quality of goods, fitness for purpose, conformity with description, delivery, and passing of risk.
Where mandatory consumer law gives you a right, remedy, or protection that differs from these Terms, the applicable law will prevail.
21. Electronic Communications
When you place an order or contact Snugwell Pets electronically, you acknowledge that communications may take place by email or through other electronic means.
We may send transactional communications concerning your order, such as order acknowledgements, dispatch information, tracking information where available, or information concerning a return or refund.
22. Privacy and Personal Information
Personal information provided during a purchase is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Information may be processed where necessary to fulfil an order, arrange delivery, process payment, provide customer support, comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, and operate the online store.
23. Changes to These Terms of Sale
Snugwell Pets may update these Terms of Sale when necessary to reflect changes to our business, website, ordering process, payment services, delivery arrangements, or applicable legal requirements.
The version applicable to your purchase will be the relevant version communicated or made available in connection with your order, subject to applicable law.
The latest version will be published on this page with an updated Last updated date.
24. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Sale are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections or jurisdictional rights that apply to you.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to prevent a consumer from relying on mandatory rights available under applicable consumer protection law.
